Being asked to photograph this wedding was a real honor. Even though it was in a way last minute, I was excited to be able to spend this day with two people who have become great friends over the last couple years. I am so happy for Kyle and Jami! Enjoy!

B Family Photos

Well my friends, I have escaped from my cave and have begun photographing again. I couldn't have asked for a better family to photograph today! They were amazing, the kids were adorable and it was such a beautiful morning. Thanks!

Life gave me lemons...

Over the past few months I have been mulling over some very important decisions i've been needing to make. This last week I finally came a solid conclusion, a conclusion that is incredibly hard for me to publicly share. 

So here we go. As of December 31st, 2011, Captured By Dash Photography will no longer be an active part of my everyday life. I have decided to dissolve my business. I plan to still do weddings and portraits on occasion, however I will no longer be actively advertising/selling my work. 

Photography is an incredible passion for me and always will be. Life has changed for me in a lot of ways in the last year, with where I am at with my schooling and career plans I know this is the best decision for me and my family at this time. 

Thank you to every couple, family and client that has allowed me to capture special moments in your lives.

Tyler & Jill Wedding Day :: Utah Wedding Photographer

One of my favorite things about working with couples as a photographer is when I am able to work with them over several shoots. I was able to do Tyler and Jill's engagements, bridals, and wedding day. It fun in a way to be part of the process leading up to the wedding day and to be the one to capture the memories of that day. I really enjoyed this day with Tyler and Jill's family. It is the largest group of people I have had to work with and photograph. If I counted correctly there were 107 people at the temple to support these two on their special day. All of them were great to work with! Enjoy the many photos here.

The day before this session I got a call from an old friend of mine that I hadn't talked to for several years. Turned out her family was in desperate need of a photographer to get family photos done before some of the family left the state. I was glad I was available to capture these beautiful people on that fall afternoon.
