A little bit of New England...

I spent some time today with a several amazing people that I grew to love from the time I lived in New England. Last year I went back to visit and was able to capture some amazing photos, the below photo being my absolute favorite of anything I took on that trip. I miss New England and was happy to remember some great memories of that time today.

This last weekend I went on a midnight hike up Mt. Timpanogos with my friends KayAnna and Jeff. The hike was awesome, having hiked Timp several times I expected a simple hike with beautiful views and amazing wilderness. Wasn't exactly the case this time. We got up to the hut by emerald lake and took a nap for about an hour before we started towards the summit. As we started hiking again I started to feel really sick, and it only got worse as we went up. Nausea, light headed and completely disoriented we got to the top and laid down and waited for the sunrise. Not fifteen minutes later I found myself on my hands and knees throwing up. Despite the altitude sickness the view was amazing and was grateful to be with friends on the top of a mountain.

Hiking down we were able to be ridiculously close to the goats in the meadows, love these photos!

What an awesome couple to work with. I have known Kameron for several years from school and Tracey has been like a sister to me with her family and my family growing up together. So I was more than excited to be able to work with these two in this exciting time in their lives.

Had an awesome time in Park City with this couple. The weather was perfect and such a great couple to work with. Very worth the time spent driving and moving around to different locations. Looking forward to the rest of the photos to come.

It's nearly 1 am and I just have to share a few of these before I retire to my cozy bed for the night. This wedding today was awesome! Very simple and low key and easily the most candid couple i've worked with. I couldn't end the day without sharing a little of an awesome shoot today! Enjoy!
