Some recent work...

I've waited several weeks to post these photos, haven't been able to simply because the groom was not allowed to see any of the photos/ the dress. So i've had to hold off, they got married yesterday and so can now share these. The wedding was great and will have some photos from the wedding up soon.

Megan...

I have also been working on getting photos of all the temples in Utah, so far i've been able to capture Oquirrh Mountain, Salt lake, and now Timpanogos. The below photograph is the Timpanogos temple. I am starting to work more and more with night photography so I hope to get some of the Provo temple here soon.

KarmaBe Photo - Downhill Series Race

Images are strictly property of Devin Ashby and KarmaBe Photography, Please do not copy images, thank you.

I have had a great opportunity to get involved with a great company that is focused on providing on site photographers for local sporting events, KarmaBe Photography. I got to go out this morning and photograph a downhill race held at Wolf Mountain in northern Utah. There were some 80 riders, from pro's to young riders. I was put in the table top section. The wild thing about this section is the table tops were a little short for the size and amount of speed these riders were getting. Majority of them over shot the last table top and were landing pretty hard. Saw a few spills but nothing major. Had a great time out there on the track. Check out Karmabe Photography!

Weddings and decisions...

When I started Captured By Dash Photography I never anticipated the amount of work it would take to not only get known, but the time consumption and the competitiveness of wedding photography in Utah. I've played around with several different pricing options, package options and so on. After much thought I decided to lower my prices and make choosing a photographer easier with offering more simple options. So here it is! How long I will actually offer this price i don't know, but for now it's staying.

Seattle...

I have just returned from a week long trip to Seattle to visit my good friend Katie and to get away from the stress of work and everything else that i've been dealing with. Had a great time, and it was very relaxing and not to excited to go back to work tomorrow. However I have been able to schedule several weddings over the past few days so I can't complain one bit about the progress that is happening here. So many new posts to come, for now enjoy the Seattle skyline.

Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple

I had been out with a friend in South Jordan hiking for the afternoon on memorial day and I happened to have my camera on me and seeing the clouds in the horizon I decided that I needed to drive to the temple and see if I couldn't get some shots of the temple with the storm clouds behind. I've been wanting to photograph this temple for many weeks and I think I got some great shots.
